PEER REVIEW PROCCESS
All submissions to Herbapharma: Journal of Herb Farmakological must adhere to the specified focus, scope, and author guidelines. Manuscripts should demonstrate scientific merit or novelty aligned with the journal's focus and scope. The Editor-in-Chief holds the authority to reject articles that deviate from the prescribed theme or fail to meet the Guidance for Authors requirements. Plagiarism-free content is mandatory, and authors are recommended to use plagiarism detection software for similarity checking. TURNITIN software is employed by editors to verify plagiarism in submitted articles.
Research articles undergo a double-blind peer review process, with reviewers providing valuable scientific comments for manuscript improvement. The final decision on article acceptance rests with the Editor, representing the Editorial Board, based on reviewer feedback. The Editor-in-Chief will oversee the publication of accepted articles, considering the accepted date's sequence, geographical distribution of authors, and thematic relevance.
Review Outcomes: After incorporating feedback from the peer review process, the Editor will determine the final publication decision. The review process is expected to span approximately 1 to 3 months. Decisions categories include,
Decline : Manuscripts that are rejected will not be published, and authors will not be afforded the chance to submit a revised version to Herbapharma.
Resubmit for Review: Revisiting the submission is necessary, and with substantial modifications, it may find acceptance. Nonetheless, a second round of review will be necessary to assess the changes.
Accept with Revisions: Manuscripts granted an accept-pending-revisions decision will be published in Herbapharma, contingent upon the implementation of minor/major modifications. An editor will review the revisions to ensure that necessary updates are incorporated before publication.
Accept: Manuscripts that receive acceptance will be published in their current form, with no additional modifications needed.
Following the review process, all relevant information is communicated to the author. The author is expected to finalize the article within one or two weeks and submit the definitive version to the editors' office. Failure to return the article within this timeframe, or if the editorial board is not informed of any delay, will result in the article being declined.
