PENGGUNAAN YOUTUBE SEBAGAI MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN MATEMATIKA PADA ERA REVOLUSI 4.0
Abstract
In era Industrial Revolution 4.0, the development of technology, information and communication made computer based technology applicable in the world of education. The use of computer technology used as learning media. Most of the material on E-learning in the form of text is difficult for students to understand in learning mathematics because mathematics material contains explanations and steps solving mathematical problem. The learning resource the form of video is alternative to replace text media. The learning videos that have been created can be uploaded on video sharing as YouTube. The purpose of this study was to analyze the use YouTube source of learning mathematics for students in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0. The study used a descriptive qualitative approach with the research the main instrument. Researchers analyzed mathematics learning resources uploaded to several channels on YouTube and conducted interviews with mathematics teachers and students of the SMK Islam Perti Jakarta regarding the opinion of YouTube source of learning mathematics. The results showed that there is a YouTube channel that provides learning resources for mathematics to be studied by students. Based on interviews with math teachers and students, YouTube is very potential and useful source of learning mathematics.
