This study was conducted at SMPN 1 Darma with the aim of analyzing the effect of tactical approaches on students' physical fitness. The method used was an experiment with a pretest-posttest design, involving 20 futsal extracurricular students as a saturated sample. The results showed that students who were trained with a tactical approach experienced a significant increase in physical fitness, especially in the aspects of endurance, agility, and coordination. This increase was due to the active involvement of students in activities that required problem solving and decision making during the game. The implications of this study indicate that the tactical approach is effective as an alternative to physical education learning that can improve students' overall physical fitness and increase student motivation and involvement in training because of its active, challenging nature, and encourage teamwork and problem solving.
2025-09-05T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Indonesian Journal of Education Teaching and Learning (IJETL) https://jurnal.umkuningan.ac.id/index.php/Ijetl/article/view/5051 EFFECTIVENESS OF THE METHOD DRILL AND PRACTICE IN IMPROVING BASIC KICKING TECHNIQUES IN KARATE SPORTS 2025-10-08T07:42:19+00:00 Galih Dwinanda Gumilar galihdwinanda363@gmail.com Oman Hadiana hadianaoman@umkuningan.ac.id
This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the application of the drill and practice method in improving basic kicking techniques in karate athletes. The research method used is an experiment with a One Group Pretest-Posttest Design , involving 20 karate athletes from the Kuningan Karate School. Data were collected through direct observation, skill tests, and measurements before (pretest) and after (posttest) the training intervention. The results of the descriptive statistical analysis showed an increase in the average value from 65.45 (pretest) to 72.60 (posttest). The normality test (Kolmogorov-Smirnov and Shapiro-Wilk) and homogeneity (Levene's test) ensured that the data were normally distributed and homogeneous (p > 0.05). The paired sample t-test confirmed a significant difference between the pretest and posttest (t (19) = -19.227; p = 0.000), with a mean difference of -7.15 and a 95% confidence interval (-7.928 to -6.372). These findings prove that the drill and practice method significantly improves the basic kicking techniques of karate athletes, especially in terms of speed, accuracy, and strength. The implications of the study support the use of this method in karate training to strengthen muscle memory and movement consistency.
2025-09-05T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Indonesian Journal of Education Teaching and Learning (IJETL) https://jurnal.umkuningan.ac.id/index.php/Ijetl/article/view/5049 Development of the Pencak Sila Self-Protection Training Model Based on Character Education for Life Skills 2025-10-08T07:42:20+00:00 Risa Marisatul Qibtiyah risamarisatulq@gmail.com Oman Hadiana hadianaoman@umkuningan.ac.id
Study This aim develop training models martial arts martial arts based education character For increase life skills athletes , in particular aspect discipline and religiosity .
